I really wish I had captured the special impromptu performance by the little monkey, though quirky, it was rather enjoyable. Through my in ability to figure out how to shoot a video, you are relegated to the use of your imagination. Please use the picture below as a starting point.
Now, imagine, marching in a circle with twirling, hoo-haa-ing, tip tow walking, funny ape imitating and the occasional jump thrown in - all to the tune of Thomas and Friends.
This last weekend, Torben and Co. took a trip out to Amarillo, TX to visit the Holder clan - especially little Thuy - Laura's daughter. Amazingly, some how with all the pictures, we didn't get any of Thuy and Torben with their clothes on, Thuy is super cute and we would love to post but the censors would give us the slow, silent head shake. Why didn't we get other pics? Maybe because the hotel pool was so cold, and the fire alarm went off (Again! Why does it always happen to us?), and they were frolicking after a warm bath we just weren't inspired until the naked time. Or maybe we had just forgotten where the camera was.
Before leaving on the trip Torben practiced saying, "Don't mess with Texas", but all that came out was "Look a horse!".

Snack Time!
Torben has recently discovered the joys of peanut butter and jelly.
Joy #1: getting it everywhere.
Joy #2: I all really want is the jelly, the peanut butter is just an excuse.
Joy #3: I get to make funny faces.
Joy #4: It tastes pretty good (and I get nutrition)
Besides Torben, none of these are Dad's joys (well maybe the nutrition)

well its not skates
Well Judy, sorry, its not skates. But we thought we'd start at the top rather than the bottom and try the helmet first. Actually, we had to be sure he could tolerate it before we take him skating.
I can't wait to watch the helmet, long jersey, and really little legs skating around with the other munchkin brigade.
