little man

Back to Yu kids Island, and again we caught a cold. I am pretty sure that they do not clean that place as often as they should. Torben had a great time though. Usually you can tell how much fun he is having by the amount of time he has his tongue sticking out. Almost every picture of him we took, he has his tongue tongue sticking out.

Mondays...

Back...

Sorry to be so silent. I was in China and I had planned on updating the blog from there but that proved to be difficult and I was very busy while I was there anyhow, so I figured the blog would just take a short break. I'll try to start it up again. But as many of you know...the end is drawing near to our time here in Taiwan, in fact we only have two weeks left. I am quite pleased about this. I have had a great time but I am done and ready to come home. There have been some requests to continue the blog back in Canada...I will try. It is fun to take pictures of the monkey and tell about his daily habits. So hopefully there will be enough interesting things to post. If not there is just his unbelievable adorableness...maybe that will be enough.

Home from Gou Mama's

We send Torben to the nannies every morning wearing what we think is approriate clothing for 75 oF weather and every night he comes home wearing three layers...thick layers. This day he came home wearing this thick quilted yellow suit with a fleece vest and then the jacket. In all fairness it might have dipped below 70 oF this day.

Go Admirals!

Long after the Jaglinski's left, their presence was still felt but mostly heard. Mainly because they brought along with them (and left here) some of those noise maker balloon things (not sure how else to describe them). Torben quickly learned how to make the most of them. He found they are loudest when you hit them together in conjunction with screaming and running through the house. Too bad pictures don't come along with sound or this image would be much more telling.

hat practice.

Right before Ken and Marlene left, Torben took some time to practice wearing his hat. Here he is in the house 'practicing'.
